He wrote of his travels in a volume entitled A Ramble Around The Globe and in this book, Malcolm Greenwood has followed as closely as possible the route taken by Dewar. In doing so he makes a remarkable journey into the whisky trade in each country he visits and is able to recount tales both funny and peculiar. Above all there are remarkable contrasts between the world Dewar saw and the one Greenwood experiences, but when it come to Scotch, little seems to have altered: it is still the world's most convivial and popular spirit. The late Malcolm Greenwood was the international sales manager for Glenfarclas Single Malt Scotch Whisky and travelled the world in the line of his work.
